I think Thomas and I keep exchanging each other's sickness over and over again. When he's feeling better, I'm getting sick. When I'm getting better, he's getting sick. He's better now, but man I feel like I've gotten ran over by an eighteen-wheeler. My tonsils have swollen to golf ball size, accompanied by a severely sore throat, cough, stuffy nose, and nausea due to drainage in the back of my throat. *huff*
Also, last night I got plenty of sleep, but I'm still groggy as crap. Vincent's awake, eating a bottle as I type this. He woke up earlier than normal. Joy. When he takes a nap today, I'm going to join in after getting a grip load of homeopathics into my system. I'm going to sleep for, oh, maybe an eternity. Your body only heals itself properly when one goes into REM sleep, you know.
After reading my friend Kris' blog, I completely agree that the SNES is totally the best gaming system ever made. Yoshi's Island is my favorite.
So our one year wedding anniversary was totally rad. We grabbed Kris and went to Chili's to eat, and then saw Indiana Jones in the theaters(which I give 3 and a half stars out of five because even though it was awesome, the cheesy factor in the movie was a little overdone), and everyone finished the night off with playing Grand Theft Auto 4, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Rock Band until the wee hours of the morning.
My mom wants me to visit Abilene to see my little sister graduate. I really want to, but we couldn't plan for the trip in advance because it didn't look like she was going to graduate because she kept slacking off in her schoolwork. I just found out today that we're 98% sure she's graduating. She graduates this weekend. The way things are looking, I don't think Thomas can go with me because of the last minute notice, but I don't want to go by myself. And also go all that way just for two days. I dunno. I'll talk with Thomas about it this evening when he comes home.
Dadgum my throat hurts. It doesn't help that I keep trying to cough. Every time I cough it feels like someone takes a sledgehammer to my esophagus. I -hate- sore throats.
Anyway, this post was basically one big gripe. =( Sorry.
