.I Am Not A Machine.

So it's been a while since I've posted anything.

I haven't had too much time to sit on the computer much. I've been drawing a lot lately between taking care of Vincent among other every day things. I miss talking to the people in the several online communities I'm apart of, along with my loves on YIM and AIM. I miss you guys lots. ♥ (<--HAHA, lookit THAT Kris! I can make those stupid hearts on HERE at least! XD)

I've felt so disconnected from the world because our phones have been off for a while on top of my lack of presence in the internet world. When we're tight on money the phone is the last thing to get paid. Not appreciating that, AT&T cut the service of course, but all is well. To tie us over, my sister in law Sarah gave us her old Go Phone that still had 60 bucks left on it as a gift. That helped out lots and lots. Thank you Sarah. After getting that, we figured to save money on our too expensive cell bill we'd cut Thomas' line completely since he's not under contract and cut my minutes down immensely since I don't use very many. He'll use the Go Phone and I'll be on my regular phone and plan. Sounds good to me. Now we just gotta catch up. O_o

Argh.. my apartment complex has been annoying the crap out of me lately. They are supposed to give you 24 hour notice before entering your apartment for maintenance and whatnot, and the past two and a half times they have come over with no notice whatsoever. The reason why I said 'half' is because they gave us notice that they would be coming the next day, but didn't come until two days later. *facepalm* Twice they've had the pest control people come over at random times, and I'm usually half undressed or soothing a screaming Vincent when they bang on the door.

Speaking of that, the poor Pest Control Guy probably thinks we're constant slobs or something. I've been keeping the apartment squeaky clean lately, but as soon as I don't feel like cleaning and the house gets cluttered for a day or two, that's when they decide to have him come over to spray. Ugh. Another reason why I want notice so the Pest Control Guy doesn't have to wait while I move laundry out of the ways so he can spray. Come ON, people. Notice would be nice.

Also, speaking of a screaming Vincent, his mood has been absolutely terrible for the past four days or so. I don't blame him, but it's still so frustrating. He started teething like mad again, and as soon as that started up it got him sick with fever and diharrea. It hit suddenly in the middle of the night. Needless to say, Thomas and I got no sleep. The sickness caused by the teething left as quickly as it came, thank goodness, but Vincent's grumpiness is still left in its wake. You can NOT make that boy happy, unless you're holding him while walking 24/7. My arms don't have that kind of strength. You can't sit him down, you can't lay him down, he won't play with his toys. Nothing makes him happy. You can't even stand and hold him. You have to be moving. Sorry. I feel bad but Vincent has sat in his crib and cried a lot the past few days because I just don't have the endurance to hold him for hours on end. He needs to learn that he's not going to be held to his hearts content every time he demands it. At least there are rare times during this teething madness where he's in a wonderful mood and cuddly and smiling, showing off all his newly cut teeth. He does his little 'dance' (meaning his body wiggles while he flails his arms, hitting anything in the way including your face) and laughs and squeals. I look forward to the day all his teeth have all cut through and this grumpiness it causes is put behind us.

You gotta love being a mom. I admit I do complain a lot about it but I wouldn't trade my job title as 'Mom' for anything else in the world. I love my little bundle of teething madness.

Yarg. I still haven't gotten over to David's Bridal to try on my bridesmaid dress. Or Matron of Honor dress anyway. Whatever you want to call it. I got to see a color swatch of it last night over at Deborah's. It's such a pretty blue. Yay!

Woo, three days and counting until the Womans' Conference starts AND my mom is going to be visiting. I miss her like mad and can't wait to have her around for a few days. I was scheduled a bunch of times to work the cafe during the conference, but Penny rearranged some times and Thomas said he'd fill in for me for a little bit so I can spend more time with my mom.

Grr.. the fair is in town this week.. and I don't think we're going to get to go. I didn't get to go last year because I was still in the sick stage of my pregnancy and didn't feel like walking around the fair grounds. It depressed me greatly since I LOVE the fair every year. Looks like this year is going to be the same way (only minus the pregnancy and sickness). Blerg. Oh well. We'll see how things turn out.

Anyway, I guess that's about as much updating as I can muster up right now. Vincent finally took a nap today so maybe I can get a few things done around the house. By the way things have been playing out we'll be probably getting even more surprise visits from our apartment complex people so I need to keep it tidy like I need to anyway.

Oh, by the way, I love Saosin. They won the rank of my favorite band of the month.
