.The Name is Chosen.

Forever.

That's how long it seemed to take to come up with Vincent's full name. We finally came up with a middle name a little less than two months before his arrival.

Vincent Gabriel.

I love it.

Thomas had to work really hard to convince me to use the name Vincent. I wanted nothing to do with it, especially the potential horrid nicknames. He finally convinced me, and now I love the name.

Now it was my turn to convince Thomas of using Gabriel as the second name. Thomas deemed it 'too girly and feminine' to be used for little Vincent. I bugged and bugged Thomas.. and he wasn't backing down. I finally got through to him. He was convinced in a funny way, to say the least. We just recently rented the movie 'Live Free or Die Hard'. The main bad guy's name was 'Thomas Gabriel'. Needless to say.. he loved the bad guy and was like 'Maybe Gabriel isn't so girly...' So then it started to stick.

I guess I can tell Vincent later on when he's older that his middle name was picked with the help of an arch enemy of John McClane. =D

Well, in other news, Thomas' job is going well. He just got a trainee last night, so there will be extra money on his paycheck. He got a lot of ridicule from some of his fellow employees since they have been there for a few years and never got to train someone.. and here comes Thomas, working there barely three months, and just got qualified to train someone. It happened because of two reasons. First, he has the favor of God, and second, he's good at his job, and his bosses see this. I'm proud of him. Plus, this paycheck he's getting today will have a quarterly bonus added to it. (Everyone got that, but I'm excited.. we will have a little extra money to pay off some pending debts.)

I need to drink more water. My fingers are a little swollen, along with my toes. At least not my ankles.. I had to take off my wedding ring though. I miss it so much. It saddens me to see it sitting on the side table next to the bed. I've been slacking in the water drinking for some reason. I love water.. but I've been wanting fruit juice and Cool-Aid. *shudders* I can't stand to think of how much food colouring goes into those packets of powder. Once Thomas wakes up, he and I are going to go food shopping and I'm going to get a huge pack of bottled water and drink only that. I wish we could get a water cooler/dispenser thing. My mom has one and has fresh drinking water all the time, and never has to use the horrid city water except for doing dishes. When we get the money that's the next thing I want to get. Although Thomas wants one of those sleek, electric ones that give you hot and cold water.. whereas I just want one of the ones with a ceramic bottom that goes on a wooden stand. We'll see what we'll get when the time (and money) comes.

Anyway.. I'll leave it at that. This post was more boring than I wanted it to be.
